ABOUT THE PROJECT

Dendy Park Ground Stabilisation

Dendy Park is one of the most significant outdoor recreation areas in Bayside. The park was also once a tip site and in recent years, deep depressions have appeared at various locations. Ground stabilisation works will be undertaken using Entracon’s Rapid Impact Compaction machine , known as the RIC 7000 to create safe and level surfaces for use by sporting clubs and the community. This work involves compacting the existing surface, topping up the compact-ed areas with suitable soil, reinstating irrigation, providing sub surface drainage and replacing the turf.

Dendy Park was the third project Entracon has been involved in utilising the RIC 7000.
The central part of the oval included a cricket square, irrigation, turf laying and sand installation.
