Mitchells Run Estate Wetlands 19

Mitchells Run is a residential neighbourhood located in Doreen in Melbourne’s northern growth corridor. As part of the developmental plan to maintain the natural topography , remnant river gums and water­ways, Entracon is working with Dacland Management to create a Wetland that will not only enhance the liveability of the estate but also serve as a functional stormwater and floodway water catchment system.

Works Include:

• Construction of Wetland
• Construction of culvert crossing
• Feature rock work
• Stormwater drainage
• Concrete Paths
• Landscaping

Key Aspects:

• Construction of Wetland in Basalt Rock
• Environmental Management with consideration of abutting existing subdivision
• Restricted site conditions and working in conjunction with separate subdivision contractors
• Management of water in existing stream and floodway
