ABOUT THE PROJECT

Rapid Impact Compaction -Dendy Park Ground Stabilisation Stages 1, 2 and 3

Dendy Park in Brighton is highly utilised space for organised sport and recreational activities. The main soccer fields were suffering from subsidence due to the site’s former use as an open landfill. This project was implemented as part of Bayside City Council’s Dendy Park Master Plan.

Entracon was contracted for ground stabilisation for Stage 1 and 2 of the project by Hendriksen Contractors. The Rapid Impact Compaction machine was used again for ground stabilisation in Stage 3 of the redevelopment that was completed by Entracon Civil.
