ABOUT THE PROJECT
Fraser Ave Main Drain Upgrade
Kingston City Council are upgrading the drainage infrastructure within its boundaries. The works covered by this contract include Stage 2 of Council’s drainage infrastructure upgrade for the Fraser Avenue Catchment. The major component of Stage 2 is the main stormwater pumping station to be located within the Chelsea Public Golf Course grounds. This pumping station will service 70 Hectares of residential properties and will also deliver water for re-use to the neighbouring Edithvale Recreation Reserve.
Works Include:
• Construction of a large storm water drainage pipe and pits
• Construction of a deep storm water pumping station
• Installation of pumps and a rising main
• Installation of a control panel, electricity and communications infrastructure
• Installation of a shed over the pump station
• Design and construction of irrigation system
